We all know how annoying it is when someone talks over your favorite program.
But damn, that’s what subtitles are for! You don’t need to murder anyone because of it.
But that’s exactly what a Las Vegas woman did.
Dymund Ellis has been charged with fatally stabbing her roommate after he kept talking while she was trying to watch a television show.
The 19-year-old, from North Las Vegas, told 25-year-old Jace Trevon Ernst to be quiet during the program they were watching together on May 4, according to her arrest report.
After Ernst replied ‘shut up b****’ Ellis got a kitchen knife.
The furious woman held it up, and dared him to ‘call her a b****’ again’. When he did, Ellis stabbed him in the chest and then hid the knife in her bedroom, police say.
Ellis told an officer she had threatened Ernst with a knife some 10 times in the past two months.
But on each occasion he was able to take the knife away without anyone getting hurt, the Review Journal reported.
‘She told me she has anger problems and she just got extremely upset tonight,’ the officer wrote.

Ernst was taken to the University Medical Center where he sadly died.
Ellis was booked for a charge of murder with a deadly weapon, but one of her friends insisted the incident was a ‘bad accident’.
‘They got into an argument that turned physical,’ she told News 3.
‘He has done things to her, and she has done things to him. However, on this particular day, it was a bad accident.’
It is not known what television program Ellis was watching that caused her to take a life and throw away her own.
