White House, Trump’s Response To Police Shootings Of Black Men Can’t Get Any Worse

WASHINGTON, DISTRICT OF COLUMBIA — This White House and Donald Trump are pure bulls**t, and they’re blatantly trying to take us back to Jim Crow. A “local matter”? Really??

According to CNN, Trump — as you probably know by now — has encouraged police officers to be rougher on suspects they arrest, particularly Black ones.

NOTE: For instance, he’s deployed federal authorities to handle gun violence in Chicago. But honestly, Chicago DOES need something done about its senseless violence. However…

Trump is on record as having repeatedly called for nationwide police to implement “tough-on-crime” policies, the source reports.

When it comes to the deaths of Black men at the hands of police — specifically, the deaths of so many unarmed Black men across the nation — Trump believes those incidents are a “local matter” that “should be left up to the local authorities,” White House press secretary Sarah Sanders said on Wednesday, March 28.

When pressed about the fatal police shootings of Alton Sterling in Louisiana and Stephon Clark in California, Sanders responded as follows.

“Certainly a terrible incident. This is something that is a local matter, and that’s something that we feel should be left up to the local authorities at this point in time.”

Even while questioned about the national implications of the cases — as well as the national outcry that has sounded out in the wake of numerous police shootings of Black men in recent years — Sanders stood by her comments.

“Certainly, we want to make sure that all law enforcement is carrying out the letter of the law. The President [Donald] is very supportive of law enforcement, but at the same time in these specific cases and these specific instances, those will be left up to the local authorities.”

According to the source, Louisiana’s attorney general — on Tuesday, March 27 — announced the state would not be filing charges against the two officers involved in Sterling’s death.

Likewise, the United States Justice Department had announced in May that it would not bring civil rights charges against the officers following an investigation.

NOTE: This is the decision of Trump’s DOJ, mind you.

Silky Slim — former gang leader, now activist and motivational speaker — hit the nail on the head once he interrupted a recent press conference regarding Alton Sterling’s case.

“When the Ku Klux Klan infiltrates law enforcement, they become the Blue Klux Klan with a license to kill…with the Grand Wizard at 1600 Pennsylvania [Avenue] [,The White House,] giving them the OK!”

With all the daily tweets Trump can’t seem to restrain, he has not yet commented on the death of Stephon Clark, the unarmed Black man who was shot and killed in his grandmother’s backyard last week by Sacramento police.

The Black Loop reports that police “thought he was holding a gun.” However, as it was discovered, Clark was only holding a cell phone.

Likewise, Donald Trump hasn’t commented on the Louisiana attorney general’s decision to not file charges against the officers involved in Sterling’s death.

CNN reports that the White House was first grilled about Clark’s death on Monday, March 26, when deputy White House press secretary Raj Shah said he was “not aware of any comments that (Trump) has” on the matter.

“Obviously, the President cares about any individual who would be harmed through no fault of their own,” Shah said.

It’s not “obvious” at all. What’s “obvious” is that he doesn’t care about any individual who isn’t Donald J. Trump. However, it’s especially “obvious” that people with melanin are the last of his concerns.

While minorities were being bombed on U.S. soil by a white terrorist just last week, Trump said nothing.

This is the same guy who uses “foreign terrorists” — anyone from the Middle East or “s**thole countries” — as a basis for his base support demographic.

But when whites are literally bombing U.S. minorities, Trump is silent. It’s not right. It’s just not right at all. And something needs to change.

All in all, let us know your thoughts about Trump’s remarks. If you have any comments, feel free to share them via our Facebook page.
