Last year, Wendy Williams’ fainting spell caught the attention of millions of fans. Now, it looks like she almost had another spell onstage. According to EURWeb, a new clip from The Wendy Williams Show is going viral because it appears to show Williams on the verge of fainting again.
More Health Problems?:
Although she managed to maintain her composure, this time, it’s obvious she was very close to collapsing. In the wake of the latest health scare, Williams has opted to cancel tapings for the rest of the week, which has only raised more questions about her health. However, the reason for the abrupt cancellation is reportedly due to something many people around the world are battling right now.

So, what’s the problem this time around? Well, Williams claims her latest health scare is a result of the flu. According to Page Six, Williams’ spokesperson has released a statement detailing her decision to cancel tapings for the rest of the week. “Wendy is still experiencing flu-like symptoms, and so she can rest up and get better, we have decided to cancel tapings the rest of the week,” a spokesperson for the show told Page Six on Wednesday morning.
Past Health Scares:
The latest news follows Wendy Williams’ health scare back in October of last year. On Halloween, the talk show host collapsed onstage after she claimed to have gotten overheated in her costume. A clip of the shocking moment has gone viral on social media raising speculation about the possibility of Williams battling her problems. However, Williams refused to let that moment impact her performance. Minutes after collapsing, Williams returned to the stage and days after she openly discussed the incident.
“That was not a stunt. I’m overheated in my costume and I did pass out,” Williams told ABC News’ Amy Roach on November 3 about the incident. “The crew and security here thought that the bug-eyed look I gave was part of a stunt because I’m always doing tricks. This is the trick show. We’re always doing tricks and stunts. It was Halloween. They thought it was a part of something so nobody came out until I hit the ground. Then, oh, my gosh, chaos ensued. The studio audience went wild.”

She continued, “You know, I’m a woman of a particular age. I’m also going through menopause. I didn’t think my costume was hot when I first tried it on. It was a catsuit. Apparently, I was dehydrated, according to the paramedics … I went to my own doctors and I’m fine, including blood work.”
Best of luck to Wendy Williams.
