This hurricane sounds like something straight out of a horror movie. Just take a listen for yourself.
U.S. VIRGIN ISLANDS — People heard the rumors and thought Hurricane Irma wasn’t going to be as bad as forecasters predicted.
It actually turned out to be much worse. When it slammed through the Caribbeans, it was a monstrous Category-5 with winds in excess of 200 mph.
For those who stayed on the islands, this was just a sample of what they experienced. After listening, you’ll see that even the sample was enough to frighten anyone!

Absolutely horrifying, right?
Several people have commented on the sounds produced from the hurricane winds.
Some even say it sounds like “tortured souls” from lives lost within the catastrophic storm.
Others say it resembles what you hear during tornadoes: “Sounds like a train!”
Here’s other devastating footage from the storm while it maintained Cat-5 status in the Caribbeans.
IF YOU’RE STILL IN FLORIDA
Whatever the case, Hurricane Irma — which is now over Florida — is leaving a significant trail of damage.
Although Irma has calmed to a Cat-3 since its Caribbean passage, it’s still a force to take seriously.
Watch how it tosses this man like he’s nothing.

According to reports, there are Floridians choosing to stick it out. Some of these residents say there just weren’t many safe places to go.
Here’s live coverage from those awaiting the hurricane.
Some Florida residents also state that they’ve stuck around in order to help people during the aftermath — similar to what was needed during the aftermath of Hurricane Harvey, in east Texas.
Yet, all in all, we’d love to know your thoughts about this storm system. What feeling does its sound give you? If you have any comments, share them via our Facebook page.
