10 Children Are Removed From Home With A Feces-Covered Bathroom After What Parents Did To Them

Ten children have been removed from a Northern California home after police found them living in filthy conditions.

Their parents Jonathan Allen, 29, and Ina Rogers, 30, have been arrested and charged with neglect and torture, WDTN reports.

Cops found 10 out of their 11 children living in unsafe conditions in Fairfield, California.

The Mother Has Denied The Abuse Claims

The children, who range in age from 4 months to 12 years, were said to be living in a home with a bathroom completely covered in feces.

The kids have been taken into protective custody.

But Rogers has vehemently denied abusing her children and described herself and her husband as ‘amazing’ parents.

She told reporters on Monday that the situation ‘exploded’ after she called police in March when her 12-year-old son went missing.

‘I just called because I needed help because my 12 year old son ran away. Kids get rebellious and that’s all that happened,’ Rogers said.

Authorities Found A History Of ‘Emotional Abuse Of The Children’

She said the ‘squalor’ officers saw while investigating came from her tearing her house apart as she searched for her child.

‘I was afraid that I could not find him. Once that fear sets in, you don’t know what to do,’ Rogers said.

Police said they found the missing boy and then took him back to his home. They said they immediately noticed the child’s nine siblings living in squalor.

Authorities launched an investigation into the family and revealed a ‘long and continuous history of severe physical and emotional abuse of the children.’

The Children’s Father Is Being Held In County Jail

Rogers, who was arrested March 31 and released after posting $10,000 bail, was booked for child neglect.

The mom-of-11 says she homeschools all her children. She told KTVU: “I am 30-years-old and I have 11 children and also homeschool all of my children and people don’t agree with that lifestyle. And so I’ve had many people question my right to parent and I feel this whole situation has exploded.”

The children’s father was booked on Friday for nine counts of felony torture and six counts of felony child abuse after specialists conducted interviews with the children.

He is being held in the Solano County Jail in lieu of $1.5 million bail.
