But for a moment, it looked like Barbara Reddick and her nephew Tyrone MacInnis were united in joy. The pair split a $1.2million lottery prize in half, after scooping the gigantic jackpot from the ‘Margaree Chase the Ace’.
But no sooner had they posed for an awkward photo, Reddick declared that her nephew Tyrone ‘didn’t deserve’ his share of the prize. Reddick claims she only put his name on the ticket for ‘good luck’ and wanted her prize money in full.
