Youngstown, Ohio man, 34 year-old Arnold Perry was reportedly a homeless man who had nowhere to stay. A family decided to help him but Perry violated their trust It’s unclear how he met the family but The Vindicator reports that he was a family friend. Despite the kindness that he was shown, Perry took advantage of the families kindness in the worst way.
In 2015 and 2016, Arnold Perry has been accused of impregnating 14-year-old twins and their 12-year-old sister while living in their Ohio home. One of the twins had an abortion after her pregnancy was discovered, but the other two victims had to have their babies because their pregnancies were too far along when they were discovered, Assistant Mahoning County Prosecutor Jennifer McLaughlin said in court.
These girls will suffer the rest of their lives because of this, McLaughlin said in court.
The girls’ mother said she is raising two babies, and that Perry’s family isn’t helping her. Perry must register as a sex offender for the rest of his life after his release from prison.

While Perry apologized for his actions, his attorney, Mark Lavell, argued that Perry suffered a brain injury as a child that prevents him from having feelings about his actions. However, Lavell was unable to deny that this was the most heinous crime that he’s ever seen. The Vindicator reports 34-year-old Arnold Perry was sentenced Thursday in Youngstown after pleading guilty to two counts of rape and one count of sexual battery in November.
I know now what I did was wrong, Perry said at his sentencing. I wish I could take it back.
