FORT LAUDERDALE, FLORIDA — In a horrible crime of passion and resentment, this man’s alleged actions exhibit the deepest evil in humanity. The details will chill you to the core.
According to ABC-10, 31-year-old Dytadius Demetrius Mobley recently ended a relationship with Letraveya Jefferson, after she decided to leave him.
The source says Mobley was “heartbroken.” However, reportedly, he loved Jefferson too much to ever kill her. So, according to ABC-10, he went after the woman’s mother.
The source states that Fort Lauderdale Police Department detectives think Mobley walked into the mother’s home Tuesday, January 16 — at 1218 Northwest 11th Place.
Allegedly, Mobley walked in and shot Jefferson’s mother without warning, even in front of her five grandchildren. Mind you, three of the grandchildren are his kids.
Take a really good look at this guy. @FLPD411 tell @CBSMiami he killed a grandmother in front of her daughter and 5 grandchildren Tuesday night.

According to Letraveya, her mother — Bernice Jefferson — was helping her to take care of the kids. While she was cooking dinner and washing the baby’s bottles, Mobley attacked her from behind.
The woman told the news source that she couldn’t protect her. “She didn’t even see it coming,” Letraveya Jefferson lamented.
“They didn’t get into an argument. She was just cooking dinner and washing down the baby’s bottles, and she had her back turned. She didn’t know. She didn’t know she didn’t have no time…They loved their grandma so much. They loved their daddy so much.”
So now, Mobley faces a first-degree murder charge for his crime. And apparently, authorities are putting the pressure on anyone even thinking about helping the man.
The source reports that Detective Tracy Figone mentioned, if anyone was caught helping Mobley, they would be subject to arrest on felony charges as an aider and abettor.
For now, detectives are asking anyone with information to call Broward Crime Stoppers at 954-493-8477. Information leading to Mobley’s arrest could also result in a reward of up to $3,000.
Note: This isn’t Mobley’s first crime. He actually has a LONG-STANDING history with being on the wrong side of law enforcement.
Mugshots.com lists various instances of Dytadius’ arrests: from simple battery to weapons possession, from assault with a weapon intended to kill (as reports RapSheets.org)…to sexual battery. Now, allegedly murder.
There were several signs that should’ve helped Letraveya Jefferson walk away from Mobley a long time ago. But then again, maybe she was afraid something like this might happen if she did try to leave him?
