Things in this video might not be what they appear. You see “Boot Bae” defending her man. But, that may have been for no reason. Check this out.

This was supposed to be a kind of date auction, according to Houston Chronicle.
At the University of Houston, the Nigerian Student Association held the event as a form of charity.
I mean, you’ve seen the video more than likely. But in case you haven’t, the Chronicle describes it as follows.
“In the epic six second video captioned ‘When you got a girl who doesn’t play that’, a young woman who is participating in the auction wearing a black bra underneath a fishnet top and red pants, approaches a guy sitting in the front row with his girlfriend. The auctioneer’s voice in the background can be heard saying, ‘We’re going to start the bidding at $8,000.’ Without a moments hesitation, before the young woman could even made a case for a bid, the girlfriend elegantly extends her leg between her boyfriend and the woman to put a stop to the advances.”
And, in case you need to see it again, the video is located below.
The only thing that matters is WHERE DID SHE GET HER BOOTS?

Although it appears that she’s walking toward Boot Bae’s man, she tweeted quite the opposite regarding the situation.
Jordan tweeted that she was actually more interested in Boot Bae rather than her man.
I really wanted her not her man 🤷🏽♀️ but it's whatever

That’s not the way it looks from the video. However, looks can definitely be deceiving.
Catching That Heel
One thing Twitterverse has been debating is what they would’ve done if Boot Bae had raised her foot to them.
Jordan wasn’t tripping too hard on that issue. Yet, you know how people can instigate a situation into something it wasn’t.
According to Jordan, Boot Bae didn’t put her foot on her at all — but rather, she caught her heel in-hand, as can be seen in the video.
And while things are viral, they might be simmering down. Jordan feels like her trending status has run its course.
I think my 15 minutes are up lol it was fun

We all know trends don’t really last long these days. So, it’s possible that it’s not as surprising she feels this way.
All in all, what are your thoughts? Do you think she was targeting Boot Bae or her man? Feel free to share in the comments below.
