It was a moment of pure horror.
Aaron Allen and his sister, Jolisa Jones, witnessed in shock as a white Chrysler swiped a Toyota RAV4, forcing the vehicle off the road.
In the car were a couple with a newborn baby.
Brother and sister were driving a delivery truck northbound on Interstate 75 near Tampa, Florida. As the vehicle swerved off the road, it flipped over into a watery ditch.
Without hesitation, Allen and Jones leaped into action.

Allen says he and his sister — who both work for Ashley Furniture — saw the frightening situation unfold in front of their eyes.
“There was actually a mother, a father, and an 11-day-old baby inside,” Allen told WTVT. “The car pretty much just blind-sided them … The first thing I could do was just get into action.”
Not thinking of their own safety, the siblings ran into the ditch where the car was drowning in water.
“I saw that water was seeping into the car, where it was turned upside down. We tried to break the windows, but that didn’t work. So the only thing I could think of was to flip the car over,” Allen recalled.
“So I told my sister to help me so we could flip it over to its side. So what happened is after we flipped it over to the side, I took my shirt off and wrapped it around my fist and I used my fist to break the windshield off.”
The Victims Were Not Badly Injured
Thankfully, Thomas and Diana Windsor, along with their infant daughter Azara Windsor, were not seriously injured, according to a police report.
But hero Allen says he suffered cuts to his hands after breaking the windshield. His brave sister also sustained injuries to her fingers.
But despite this, Allen and his sister say they would do it all over again – as he would want someone to help him in a similar situation.
“I just immediately thought about my daughter and what I would do if I were in that situation,” Allen said. “If I was in that situation, I would want someone to come to my rescue, honestly. I would want someone to help me.”
