According to ABC 11 News, the 4-month-old girl’s grandmother arrived at the daycare, around 5:30 p.m. on Friday, to pick up the child.
However, Oklahoma City Sheriff’s Office spokesman Mark Opgrande says the facility workers searched for the child and couldn’t find her. They informed the woman that the 4-month-old had not been dropped off that day.
“That’s when they went out to the vehicle and discovered her inside the car. She was deceased,” mentioned Opgrande.
Once the sheriff’s office launched an investigation into the death, they determined the child never left the grandmother’s vehicle.
According to the source, the spokesperson mentions as follows.
“The intention was to drop the child off here at the learning center, but that didn’t happen, so the only thing we could surmise is that the child was apparently in the back of the vehicle at the grandmother’s place of work for the entire day.”
The source says the grandmother is now distraught but was being question by authorities at the scene. At the time of the incident, she was the legal guardian of the child.
Nevertheless, WCMH 4 – Columbus reports that the grandmother was released. However, the source says a report is being forwarded to prosecutors in order to consider charges.

All in all, let us know your thoughts about this?
There are a lot of important questions which haven’t been answered regarding the situation.
How do you think something so important completely slipped her mind? Likewise, how did no one hear or see the baby in the hot car?
