Gotcha, Trump! In 2013, Donald Said A President Shouldn’t Tell NFL What To Do

BROWSING TWITTER — As you know, Donald Trump has never been one for “consistency,” as notes CNN. And this proves their point.

While Donald Trump is chastising NFL owners and advising fans to boycott the sport, he’s going against his own words — those tweeted when he wasn’t president.

Recently, Trump has voiced his opinion about NFL owners with the quickness — yet, he still hasn’t condemned racism and bigotry with such zeal and passion. Amazing.

Via Twitter, on September 25, Trump IGNORANTLY tweets as follows.

“The issue of kneeling has nothing to do with race. It is about respect for our Country, Flag and National Anthem. NFL must respect this!”

He says they MUST respect it.

Yet, when President Barack Obama addressed the Washington Redskins’ hopeful name change in 2013, Donald’s views of engagement were entirely different.

Via the same Twitter account, Cheetoh Trump noted as follows.

President should not be telling the Washington Redskins to change their name-our country has far bigger problems! FOCUS on them, not nonsense.”

Why can’t Donald Trump EVER take his own advice??

Twitter has proved to be the “Achilles heel” of his presidency, constantly putting his tweet in his mouth. Yet, he just can’t stop tweeting.

***It’s absolutely hilarious!***

Even when President Barack Obama made his statements about the Washington Redskins, he only mentioned what he’d do if he were the team’s owner.

According to CNN, Obama mentioned he would change the name simply because it’s so offensive to Native Americans.

And while Redskins attorney Lanny Davis said the name doesn’t “intend” to offend, Obama stated as follows.

“I don’t know whether our attachment to a particular name should override the real, legitimate concerns that people have about these things.”

But during none of Barack’s exchanges about the subject did he DEMAND the name be changed. He never used his power as POTUS to attempt to sway a private entity’s decision.

Why … … as president, that would be illegal. But that’s for another article!

All in all, we’d love to know your thoughts about Donald Trump and his history of contradiction. If you have any comments, feel free to share them via our Facebook page.
