[Photos] This ‘Family Matters’ Reunion Is Everything Right Now

While this reunion had several naysayers when Darius McCrary and Jaleel White first brought it up, it seems the mood has changed. This might take you back.

According to Internet Movie Database (IMDb), Family Matterslast episode aired nearly 20 years ago.

In fact, according to Entertainment Weekly, it had been nearly the same time span since 65-year-old Reginald VelJohnson — “Carl Winslow” — had a formal reunion with the rest of the cast.

***Come on, Mane…Why did they get ‘Carl’ like that? Lol!***

Nevertheless, via Entertainment Weekly, VelJohnson had this to say about his TV family.

“I love these people… Every one of them… I didn’t realize I was going to see everybody. … To see them now, the way they are, is wonderful. It’s heartwarming. It makes me cry.”

And it seems that everybody showed up for the event.

Even “Little Richie” was there.

The only person missing from the mix was Jaimee “Judy” Foxworth. To reinforce the public ponder, a hashtag has started via Twitter: #WheresJudy.

While Family Matters did nine seasons, Entertainment Weekly mentions that Jaimee Foxworth was written out in Season 4.

And if you followed up with her thereafter, you know she took a walk on the wild side for a brief moment in the “adult” industry.

All in all, it’s wonderful to see the gang back together after all these years.

In a previous Black Loop report, haters came against the show’s reunion idea when McCrary and White asked fans if they wanted to see the group back together once more.

However, it’s great to see that’s no longer the case.
