This construction team figured to tie this young man to their scaffolding while police arrived to the scene. Even the camerawoman said it was “pretty extreme.” What do you think?
CHARLOTTE, NORTH CAROLINA — According to KTVU-2 News, this all took place in uptown Charlotte. Allegedly, the young man was messing with their truck and was caught in the act.
As one of the construction workers held on to the young man, he mentioned, “I gotta do what I gotta do to hold you. You got no business in my truck.”
The source says that Tina Quizon caught the moment on video. She says she was quite surprised to have seen such a thing in person.
“You don’t stumble into those things but there I was. The leg is tapped to the scaffolding, they put a rope around his waist. I mean it was pretty extreme.”
According to the source, her immediate instinct was to hit record, get the info, and send it to Fox 46.

The camerawoman felt that no one would believe her unless she had it on video. And judging from the nature of the act, she would’ve been right.
Nevertheless, Charlotte-Mecklenburg Police was on-scene minutes after to take the man into custody.
Via the video’s comment section, many of the men in similar fields agree with the situation and say they would’ve probably done a lot worse to the young man.
While he alleged was in the act of committing a crime, do you think their response was adequate to the crime? We’d love to know your thoughts.
