Horribly, this congresswoman was cyberstalked by her former aide after trusting him to help fix her malfunctioning phone.
WASHINGTON, DISTRICT OF COLUMBIA — According to Washington Post, two former staffers of congresswoman Stacey Plaskett, 51, are being charged in connection with distribution of nude images and videos taken from her cell phone.
According to the Post, U.S. Virgin Islands Del. Plaskett and her husband — Jonathan Buckney-Small — were in the photos and videos. Court documents state that Juan R. McCullum, 35, is allegedly responsible for the leak.

You might know him from I Love New York as “Pretty,” according to BET.
He has been indicted on two counts of cyberstalking.
Here’s what happened…
In March of 2016, he offered to help fix congresswoman Plaskett’s malfunctioning, password-protected iPhone, which he volunteered to take to a local Apple Store to be repaired.
The Washington Post reports as follows.
“McCullum was not given permission to take, copy, or distribute any of the contents of the iPhone, which contains the private, nude images and videos, authorities alleged.”
In July 2016, her personal photos and videos appeared on the internet.

According to the indictment, as reports Washington Post, “after he left the congressional member’s staff, he allegedly created a Hotmail account and a Facebook account under a fake name to post the material and encouraged sharing.”
He sent the material to people she closely knew.
Afterward, her family as well as her reputation were under harsh scrutiny and defamation. In court, she mentioned there was a smear campaign initiated regarding the photos.

“To say my family and I are greatly upset would be a tremendous understatement,” the congresswoman expressed.
She adds it was a “shockingly disgusting” invasion of her and her family’s privacy.
According to the Post, McCullum’s charges carry a maximum prison sentence of five years. However, he has not appeared in court yet. But, as aforementioned, he wasn’t alone in this criminal act.
The source notes 45-year-old Dorene Browne-Louis as his accomplice. She has been indicted on two counts of obstruction of justice, according to us attorney for the District of Columbia Channing D. Phillips and Capitol Police Chief Matthew R. Verderosa.
This is because she gave false and misleading statements to investigators as well as the grand jury. Her charges carry a max penalty of 20 years imprisonment.
Both she and McCullum were assistants to congresswoman Stacey Plaskett.
