Chris Tucker Hit Instagram With The Sunday Flow — Singing Fred Hammond’s ‘No Weapon’

ATLANTA, GEORGIA — Chris Tucker thought to bless his viewers with some Sunday vibes. However, while posting with good intention, his audience is cracking up.

You know Chris Tucker is a jokester and doesn’t mind making others laugh. Yet, maybe it wasn’t his purpose when posting this particular video to Instagram.

According to his video, Tucker was dressed to the Ray Bans and on his way to church.

“Up here sounding like Fred Hammond, on my way to church this morning!”

“I’mma post this,” Tucker excitedly stated before ending the clip.

Now, it’s possible Chris helped someone with his song of praise. Nevertheless, Tucker is receiving some serious backlash from those who watched the video.

Laugh after laugh, crack up after crack up, it’s already accumulated a million views…and the video has only been up for 10 hours. Likewise, the comments are nearly as plentiful.

TONING IT DOWN A LOT

Chris Tucker has been out of the limelight for a while after becoming a Christian…like, “Black Church” Christian.

That was a lot of the issue with the possibility of Rush Hour 4 coming to fruition. He didn’t want to do the same type of acting as some of his previous movies.

According to Georgia Straight, Tucker is trying to keep it clean nowadays.

“I never was a raunchy, raunchy comic but I didn’t think about what I was saying because I was young. Being a Christian helps me in comedy. I have to talk about other stuff. Normally, most comics talk about stuff that’s easy—maybe cussing or saying something raunchy. I have to dig deeper to find something that’s still funny and not raunchy. It’s harder. I like the challenge.”

“Everybody’s doing raunchy comedy,” Tucker tells the source. “I go to comedy clubs and it’s like, ‘All right, how raunchy can you get?’ And it’s really not that funny to me. What’s funny to me is being creative and talking about stuff that I wouldn’t have thought about.”

As you can see, Tucker’s standards have changed as he’s matured in time. That’s what happens, right?
