There’s been a lot of hype regarding Black Panther‘s anticipated debut. It looks like it’s going to surpass even those expectations! Check the new trailer.

‘WAKANDA’, MARVEL STUDIOS — Ever since Black Panther appeared in Captain America: Civil War, fans have been further awaiting his own Marvel theatrical piece.

However, when word got out that it’d be a predominantly Black cast, eager demand skyrocketed.

Now, we get a epic glimpse of what’s to come via Marvel Studio’s newly released Black Panther trailer. Check it out.

The trailer has only been available since last night, June 9. Yet, it has already accumulated over 6.5 million views!

Who’s the cast?…

As you can see, T’Challa — played by Chadwick Boseman — isn’t playing games. However, there’s a star-studded cast all around him.

According to Internet Movie Database (IMDb), Boseman is joined by:

  • Michael B. Jordan – “Erik Killmonger”
  • Angela Bassett – “Ramonda”
  • Daniel Kaluuya – W’Kabi
  • Lupita Nyong’o – “Nakia”
  • Danai Gurira – “Okoye”
  • Florence Kasumba – “Ayo”
  • Letitia Wright – “Princess Shuri”
  • Forest Whitaker – “Zuri”
  • Sterling K. Brown – “N’Jobu”
  • John Kani – “King T’Chaka”
  • Phylicia Rashad (rumored)
  • and many others.

Apparently, this isn’t a movie you can miss!

Michael B. Jordan is playing the villain. That, alone, is a reason to watch. This is a different parameter for his movie legacy.

You think Wonder Woman shows powerful women?…

Nah. Black Panther has some serious Black warriors on-hand, and many of them are women.

In the Black community, it’s no secret that women are daily warriors — having to deal with some of everything mankind can toss at them. And, as Olivia Pope states, it gets handled.

Kerry Washington would’ve been an awesome addition to the cast too, right?

Nevertheless, what are your thoughts about the Black Panther footage so far? The movie is set to release on February 16, 2018. Are you ready!?
