If you’ve been following Bill Cosby’s trials, you’ll see he hasn’t yet been found guilty. However, they keep trying. What’s REALLY going on?
HOLLYWOOD, CALIFORNIA — When something significant is happening, please know there’s going to be distraction to avert your attention.
Likewise, you should also know that media is going to show you a “slight of hand.”
According to a Hollywood insider, Bill Cosby‘s sexual assault allegation collective is that slight of hand.
Stay with me…
Your News Wire reports that this “insider” says Cosby attempted to purchase television network NBC.
The New York Times substantiates this claim as well. In the 90’s Bill Cosby attempted to purchase the NBC franchise. However, he wasn’t going into the deal alone.
According to New York Times, he had talked to various other individuals about being “partners” in the transaction.
Likewise, according to a 1994 interview with Total TV, Bill Cosby spoke on the situation.
“What you have to understand is, I wasn’t the only one,” Cosby expresses.
“I was the only one as far as the press was concerned, and then finally they had to name the other partners. The excitement of it was this entertainer, who is an African-American, was out to try and raise money to run a network.”
According to a 1993 article by Vanity Fair, Cosby had teamed up with Robert “Bobby” Wussler — who had previously served as president of CBS Sports, former chairman of the National Academy of Television Arts and Sciences, senior executive vice president of Turner Broadcasting, and C.E.O. of COMSAT Video Enterprises.
The source notes as follows.
“The Cosby/Wussler management group has plotted ‘a specific strategic plan,’ designed to ‘dramatically enhance profitability right away, re-establish affiliate relations, and put the network back in the hands of TV professionals.’ Brandon Tartikoff, initially contacted last fall by Cosby, was formally asked to join the team by a Wall Street intermediary during the second week of June. Tartikoff declined both times. Cosby is, however, continuing his search for other members of a proposed triumvirate to run NBC. He himself would continue to perform, but would also put his philosophical imprint on all programming.”
Vanity Fair says Cosby’s “ambition is not financially motivated, but is fueled instead by specific creative, ideological, and even spiritual beliefs.”
As he elaborates further, he emphasizes networks being run by “men in suits” who don’t look like him. That’s what became the issue during his offer.
At the time of Bill Cosby’s bid for NBC, the source notes that the proposed offer was upwards of $4 billion — even when Wall Street analysts noted a “fair price for the network at below $2.5 billion (based on assets such as the owned-and-operated stations),” as mentions Vanity Fair.
That was back in the 90’s.
More than once…
Actually, according to Hot 104.1, Bill attempted to purchase NBC twice. Both attempts were rejected.
During the interview, Cosby mentions as follows, regarding his bid decline.
“There are times when bosses decide that a person has too much power,” Cosby says.
“So they set in motion a whole bunch of people with one philosophy — ‘Don’t give him everything he wants, because he’s got too much power, he doesn’t know everything and he’ll go crazy. How did he get to be this star? We don’t know, but we’re gonna stop that right now.”
The New York Times notes that, although several rumors suggested that NBC was indeed for sale during that time, Cosby was told, “NBC isn’t for sale.”
So, seemingly, they had to make an example out of him for the rest of Black America, right? Yet, regardless of what the females from the show say in support of Bill Cosby, everyone wants to believe these gold-digging, lying-a** women looking for a payday.
In 2015, NBC Entertainment Chairman Bob Greenblatt made a public statement that the network was going to severe all ties with Cosby for good.
“That’s safe to say,” Greenblatt told CBS News.
“So, why drudge up sexual assault claims now?”
Umm…who’s to say that “elites” didn’t start developing this plan at the moment Cosby had the “audacity” to make a bid for NBC?
Do you know how long it would take to devise a plan to take down Bill Cosby? “Black America’s father figure”…
You think these men wouldn’t try to seek “revenge” for Cosby being able to outdo them?
Realize how long it would take to get all 20 to 30 women on board with the plan, let alone work up the nerve to testify and lie against Cosby — “when that day comes.”
They’ve no hard proof of Bill Cosby’s alleged rapes.
Plus, everyone from the show is in his corner, supporting him along the way.
If Cosby was the sexual menace the public is claiming him to be, don’t you think those on the show — who know him better than any of us — would opt not to support him?
And every time one sexual assault trial falls apart, another one pops up. This isn’t coincidental.
This is character assassination at its finest. And it’s taken a decade and a half to come into fruition.
