Chante Beavers was a beautiful and incredibly smart young lady. In her third year in college, Beavers had her whole life ahead of her. Sadly, at the young age of 21, Beavers was killed in a tragic accident.
Young College Student Was Killed In An Accident In Georgia:
Chante Beavers, a junior majoring in criminal justice, died in a car accident in Madison, Georgia on Monday night. Beavers was very popular in school. Not only was she a majorette but she had become a member of Delta Sigma Theta Sorority. Being a Delta was one of her proudest accomplishments. With a beautiful smile to match, Beavers was a talented dancer with a winning personality. She was loved by many.
Beavers had been living in Pell City when she died. According to her own Facebook page, she was originally from Detroit. She had worked as a server at the Buffalo Wild Wings in Pell City since 2016.
According to Morgan County Citizen, Beavers was traveling in her Taurus when she crashed into a tree. Authorities are not sure what time the incident occurred. When officers arrived the exposed engine was cool to the touch. Sadly, Beavers wasn’t discovered in her vehicle until 7:52 Tuesday morning. There was no evidence of drugs or alcohol found, and no evidence that use of a cellphone might have been a contributing factor, according to a police report.

Beavers was driving eastbound in the right-hand lane when she “left approximately 15 feet of gradual skid marks on the asphalt from the right lane of travel to the south side of the interstate. As (the vehicle) traveled down the embankment, it rotated clockwise until it was facing south.”
Beavers was ejected and the vehicle’s lights were destroyed. It appears that she was not wearing a seat belt.
